MEHR SPAß IM OSTEN runs small beneath the large word Ostdeutschland on this men's windbreaker. It is for whoever would rather not settle on a single state and wears the whole region instead: a light hooded coat for breezy days in spring and autumn.

Outer cloth and lining

The outside is nylon, all of it; the lining is polyester, all of it. Water runs off the outer face. That covers wind and a thin drizzle; when the rain sets in, a proper rain jacket belongs over the top or in its place.

About the print

Ostdeutschland above in broad fraktur, below it the line MEHR SPAß IM OSTEN in small bold capitals. The two stand together on the left breast. Printing colour is white on the black and on the black-and-white jacket, red on black/red. The print is produced in Germany.

Variants

Black, black/red or black/white, each one from S up to 5XL. The two-colour jackets have cords, zips and a hood interior in red or in white; the black one is kept dark all over.

On quickly, off just as quickly: the zip goes the full length and, drawn open, works as ventilation. The regular width knows eight grades, the last of them labelled 5XL. Water beads on the nylon, yet a day of steady rain is still nothing for this jacket.
