Fraktur state lettering on a packable wind shell

Sachsen-Anhalt on the front, weather on the outside: this men's windbreaker is a light shoulder-season coat with a hood that says where its wearer comes from without a speech. Work in the morning, a match in the afternoon, town in the evening – it goes on fast and comes off as fast.

Material notes

Outside, nylon at 100 per cent; inside, a lining of polyester at 100 per cent. The water-repellent outer keeps wind and light rain away, and it will not serve as a rain jacket through a whole wet day.

Cut and detail

• ordinary width, nothing tapered
• hood that pulls closed on a cord
• a zip down the whole front
• two pockets at the sides, each with its own zip
• stretchy ribbed finishes on arms and lower edge

How the motif looks

The state name, hyphen included, is set in ornate fraktur and bent slightly, with OSTDEUTSCHLAND following below in compact capitals. The design sits on the left breast. Its colour follows the version: red on black/red, white on black/white and on the plain black jacket. The finishing is carried out in Germany.

Colours and sizes

Black, black/red and black/white are available. Sizes climb in eight steps from S to 5XL. In the contrast versions the pull tapes, the pullers and the hood interior pick up the secondary colour.

Whatever has to come along goes into the pockets at the hip: phone, keys, wallet, each secured by a puller. Eight grades make up the normal width, starting at S and ending at 5XL. Airing out is a matter of drawing the front zip down part way.
