Two-line blackletter print on a wind-stopping nylon shell

Lettering that says where somebody is from: M.O.B in heavy blackletter, OSTDEUTSCHLAND beneath it, the two lines sitting over the left chest of this jacket. Around that print, a light men's coat for the in-between months, hood up, pockets deep, ribbing keeping the draught outside.

What it is made of

Nylon makes the shell, 100 per cent of it, and the lining is polyester throughout. Water-repellent is the function given for the outer face – built for wind and changeable days rather than steady rain.

About the artwork

The O in the wordmark is drawn as a round emblem: two fighters, one of them on the floor. The second line is set in broken capitals. The print rests to the left of the chest and runs slightly over the edge of the zip. On the plain black version it appears in white.

Versions and care

Black, black/red and black/white are the three to pick from, in sizes S to 5XL. By the chart an S measures 70 cm long over a 52 cm chest, a 5XL 81 cm over 77.5 cm. Please wash inside out at no more than 30 °C, do not dry clean and do not tumble dry.

A smartphone, a bunch of keys or a wallet all go into the slip pockets. The front zip can be run down a little way for air. Eight steps of the normal width cover the range, from S through XL and 2XL up to 5XL.
