Fun shirt for evenings that fell flat

Three lines, bold and centred: I SHAVED, MY BALLS, FOR THIS? No picture, no ornament; the question mark at the end carries the whole gag. Somebody got freshened up for the night out, and then this happened. Anyone who misses the English gets it explained by the second pint.

Occasions

Worn to the party that did not deliver, or handed to the mate who tries a bit too hard. It gives the skittles evening something to talk about as well.

Nine shades, one cut

The shirt is made of ring-spun cotton at 100%, knitted as a tube without lateral seams and weighing 185 g/m². Regular fit, round neck in rib knit, neck tape, a thirty-degree wash. From S to 5XL: black, red, navy, royal blue. From S to 3XL: burgundy, brown, kelly green, orange, light blue.

Typography

The letters have rounded terminals and short, soft serifs of the sort found on posters from the seventies. All three lines are set to an equal width so that a compact block results. Printing is done in a single ink, without outline or shadow.

Eight steps

Four widths lie above XL. The smallest shirt weighs 145 grams and puts on weight up to 275 grams at the widest. The cotton is spun by the ring process, which lends the cloth a soft handle.
