Beer warning carried on the back

The front stays empty and the message sits behind, exactly where the person shoving in a crowd is looking. A round emblem with a filled tankard: the arc above says BITTE NICHT SCHUBSEN, the bar across the tankard says ICH HABE BIER, the lower arc says IN DER HAND!, and an ear of barley stands on either side. All of it in white.

Where it earns its keep

In front of the stage, at the beer stand in the ground, on the way back from the bar to the table: anywhere a nudge costs half a glass. Whoever stands behind you has been warned.

Material and choice

Frechstoff uses a jersey of pure cotton for this, 185 gsm, knitted with no seams at the sides. Cut straight, crew neck with a rib, a neck tape, washable at thirty degrees. Royal blue, black, navy and red run to 5XL; anyone after burgundy, brown or kelly green will find S to 3XL.

The emblem in closer view

The tankard stands centrally, handle to the right, with vertical strokes on its belly and a head of foam spilling over. Two sprigs frame it, and the circular band of lettering encloses the lot. The cloth at the front is left unprinted.

Eight widths

The run covers slim to very powerful figures. From 145 grams of cloth in the smallest, the shirt grows to 275 grams in the largest. In the range it hangs among the drink designs.
