Inside the red heart a stick figure is left open in white, holding a cat out in front of it on outstretched arms, with an exclamation mark and a question mark floating above the cat's head. To its left a large I, below it PUSSY in heavy serif type. Whether fondness for cats is meant or something else is up to whoever looks.

Occasion

A shirt for the pub, the festival and the lads' night, and a gift for cat owners with a filthy sense of humour. The cat in the picture, incidentally, looks less than delighted.

Cloth, cut, colours

The jersey leaves the needles as a tube, so nothing is seamed at the sides, and it is made from 100% cotton at 185 gsm. Regular fit, a ribbed band at the round neckline, a neck tape, care at thirty degrees. The choice runs to black, white, navy and royal blue up to 5XL, plus burgundy and brown to 3XL.

A look at the detail

Figure, cat and punctuation are cut out of the heart shape and therefore appear in the colour of the cloth. The figure is crouching, and the head is a circle with an open mouth. The cat sticks out all four paws and draws its brows together.

Span of sizes

Eight steps lie between the smallest and the largest width. A shirt in L weighs 180 grams, one in 4XL weighs 240. The yarn is ring spun, which gives the cloth a soft handle.
