An upside-down heart on the chest
The red heart stands on its head, and the declaration of love turns into a short anatomy lesson: the two curves point downwards, while two dots and a fine line in the middle do the rest. In front of it a large I, beneath it BOOBS in serif type. On dark shirts the lettering is white, on white it is dark grey.
Who wears it
Meant for men who make no secret of what they like, and for friends who know exactly such a man. At the lake it gets noticed; at the family party rather more so.
Make
Circular-knitted jersey with no seam at the sides, 185 gsm, pure cotton. Cut straight, ribbing at the neckline, a neck tape, and a 30-degree cycle in the machine. White, black, royal blue and navy go as far as 5XL; with burgundy and brown it ends at 3XL.
Drawing and setting
The heart hangs point downwards and is filled flat, without contour. Two round cut-outs sit at the same height, and a short hook between them suggests the cleavage. The large I reaches from the upper to the lower edge of the heart, and the word below stands in a slab serif with heavy strokes.
Eight steps
Four regular widths and four outsizes are on offer; the lightest shirt weighs 145 grams, the heaviest 275. The design is filed in the I LOVE series, which gathers several variants of the same heart idea.
