I Love Beer Men's T-Shirt with Tankard Heart

A tankard where the heart should be

The design follows the familiar I love … pattern, except that the heart is a beer tankard: filled yellow, topped with white foam and given a handle on the right. To its left stands a large I, below it BEER, both in white serif type as though struck on a typewriter. No further explanation is needed. The heart runs to a point at the bottom and is straight at the top like a glass; a round handle sits at the right, and the foam lies across the top and drips down in two places. Vertical strokes in the yellow field suggest the fluting of the tankard.

A declaration of love to the barley

For beer drinkers who would sooner show their preference than explain it, after work, over the coals or at the regulars' table. Also a present for the mate who always carries the crate on moving day.

Material and fit

The men's t-shirt is made from ring-spun cotton, knitted in the round into a jersey weighing 185 gsm. The cut is straight, the crew neck has a band of ribbing, and a tape covers the shoulder seam inside. Wash at thirty degrees. Available from S to 5XL in black, navy, royal blue and red, and from S to 3XL in burgundy and brown.

Two printing colours across the chest

White and yellow suffice; there are no outlines. Because light type needs contrast, all six cloth tones are dark or strong. The design takes up nearly the entire chest width and can still be read from a distance.
