Four letters in wide stencil type sit at the top; below them lies a row of four white dice, each turned slightly off square. Look closely and the upper faces count one, three, one and two. The dice therefore say in pips exactly what the letters above say in characters.

Luck has nothing to do with it

The design plays with chance, yet these numbers did not fall by accident. That small twist is the appeal: the first glance suggests a games night, the second leaves no doubt. Everything is printed in white, without gradient and without outline.

Stencil type

Stencil lettering comes from the marking of crates and vehicles: every character has gaps so that the template holds together while the paint goes on. On the shirt it reads rough and technical, which suits the angular dice beneath.

When it gets worn

On match day, at a gig, or simply with jeans. Neither design nor cloth uses a bright colour, so the shirt stays restrained under an open jacket.

Black only

White print on black cloth, in all eight sizes from S through to 5XL. The machine may take it at thirty degrees.

What tubular goods means

The jersey is knitted in the round as one unbroken tube, and that is the reason nothing is seamed down the sides. That removes a rubbing edge and lets the shirt fall smoothly. At 185 gsm the cloth is mid-weight, so neither see-through nor stiff.
