What the line says

Standing your ground means holding the spot you are on. Next to a raised fist that reads as a posture rather than an allegiance, which is why the design works without any club colours attached to it.

Seven shades on the rail

White, black, navy, red, natural, light blue and dark grey. On red the figure's jacket sinks into the background; on light blue and natural the red areas step forward hardest. The pale trio and the dark four run across eight widths up to 5XL, though not every pairing of shade and width is stocked.

Cloth and make

Soft ring-spun cotton falling straight, regular in the fit, the round collar bound with ribbing and a tape worked in at the nape. Thirty degrees in the machine.

Why ring-spun matters here

The extra twist given to the fibres during spinning leaves a smoother, more even yarn. The cloth feels gentler than open-end stock, and fine lines, the stripes of that scarf for instance, hold their shape instead of breaking up.
