The sailor lending his name to an invented salon: POPEYE'S arcs above his head, the abbreviation Est. and the year 1929 stand at either side, and underneath lies a black banner with the words BARBER SHOP in pale type. The motif is printed in black throughout, is placed centrally over the chest and fills about a hand's width. The back is left clear.

Knit and weight

The face cloth blends 90% cotton with 10% polyester; knitted as a single jersey it weighs 160 grams per square metre. The grey is a middling tone on which the black print stands out plainly without looking harsh. The neck is cut round, the sleeves short. S, M, L and XL are available.

Matching pieces

For cooler days the same print exists as a hooded sweatshirt, so the two can be combined or alternated through the year. Against dark jeans the grey stays quiet enough for the motif to get the attention. Wash it inside out and keep the temperature low.
