Matchday motif: a masked figure raising a glass

A man in a black balaclava and a dark red hooded jacket lifts a freshly poured beer, and behind him a deep red circle glows. Below that, in white script, stand the words Football and beer. Two things, one matchday: the game first, the glass after, and often enough both at once.

A tubular knit with no seam at the side

Ring-spun cotton makes up the cloth, which comes to 185 g/m². It is knitted as a tube, which is why the shirt has no side seams. The straight regular-fit cut hangs loose, rib knit encloses the crew opening, with a tape across the nape. It may go into the machine at 30 degrees.

Red, black, navy, burgundy or brown

The motif comes on five garment colours in sizes S to 5XL. For the pub, for the terrace or for an evening at the barbecue: with a glass on the chest there is no doubt what Saturday is being kept for.

Colours and widths one by one

Red, black and navy cover the full span from S to 5XL, which makes eight widths; burgundy and brown stop after six at 3XL. None of that alters the cut: the regular fit stays straight, the crew neck stays bound in rib, the sleeve stays short, the tape stays in its place inside. Ring-spun cotton lies smoother against the skin than coarsely spun yarn does. The dark red circle behind the figure separates itself more clearly on black and navy than on brown. And because the balaclava hides a face, what stays in the memory of the motif is mostly the glass.
