Death with a staffing problem

Death here is more endearing than grim: a small figure in a black habit with a large skull, a weary look and bare bony feet. The scythe rests on his shoulder on a wooden handle. Behind him hangs an apricot sign carrying SO VIELE ARSCHLÖCHER UND NUR EINE SENSE in narrow black block capitals. The reaper looks as though he has just finished counting his list.

Put politely, it comes out as: so many idiots and only one scythe. The joke is the mismatch between the workload and the equipment.

Sarcasm you can put on

For days when colleagues, neighbours and other drivers all get on your nerves at once. The shirt says what plenty of people think and stays a joke while doing it. It suits anyone with a dark sense of humour, an after-work pint, and the mate who complains about his boss every Monday.
