What the German line says

Marine is the German navy, and Wächter der Meere translates as guardians of the seas. This is a fan motif: neither an official insignia nor a product of the Bundeswehr, and no unit or command stands behind it.

For sailors ashore

The design is aimed at people who served with the navy or still sail with it, at reservists, and at relatives proud of their sailor. On navy it looks especially at home; on white or red it catches the eye at once.

• 30 degrees, machine
• pure cotton, ring-spun
• 185 g/m², a firmer cloth than the shirts worn in hot weather
• knitted as a tube; the flanks stay unseamed
• short sleeves, a ribbed neckline, a tape sewn in behind it

Four colours run the full scale to 5XL, namely black, navy, red and white, while brown finishes at 3XL.
