Bier Streicheln Men's Beer T-Shirt, Wordless Print

A declaration of love to a freshly pulled beer

No words at all, only a gesture: the right hand grips the handle at the side while the left lies flat against the glass and strokes it, the way you would a pet. The beer is golden yellow, the head runs over the rim and a few drops fly off to one side. Everything is drawn with firm outlines and soft skin tones. The tankard tilts slightly, the handle points right, and the foam hangs down over two sides in thick lobes. Vertical fluting across the glass lets the beer show through in stripes, and three separate droplets fly away on the left.

Why it is called Bier streicheln

The German name on the label means stroking the beer, and that is exactly what the picture shows. Some people stroke the car, others the dog; this one is for anyone whose affection goes to the after-work pint. A quiet motif for the pub, the regulars' table and the barbecue, and one that everybody reads at a glance.

Print without a slogan

Because no word is printed alongside it, the picture has to carry the shirt on its own. Placed at the centre of the chest, it gets by on yellow, white and warm skin tones, so it stays legible on white just as it does on the black, navy, brown and burgundy grounds.

How it is made

Frechstoff knits the body in the round from cotton, nothing blended in, which is why you will not find a seam down either side. 185 g/m² puts the jersey well above the paper-thin shirts sold for hot weekends. Short sleeves, rib around the neckline, a tape behind the collar. The run holds black, navy and white as high as 5XL; brown and burgundy are not made beyond 3XL.
