Lighthouse calling across the water

Two colours make up the artwork: tower, rocks and lettering in deep marine blue, the beam in sun yellow. AHOI stands inside the beam, as though the tower were calling it out to sea. Half a sun rises or sets behind, and a few gulls cross above. HEIMATHAFEN closes the design at the foot in broad block capitals over a rule. The beam runs out to the right as a wide triangle and carries the four letters with it, the I already clear of the yellow field. Three narrow windows sit one above another on the shaft, and a pale band circles the base below them.

Home with a harbour in it

For anyone who grew up in Hamburg, Bremen, Kiel or behind the dyke, and for those who drive back there every year. The shirt works as a greeting from home, as a present for a move to the south, and for a week aboard a yacht.

Two colours, clean edges

Only marine blue and sun yellow are printed, with no gradients and no shading. On white and natural the blue reads like a paper cut-out; on light blue it moves nearer the cloth, and on orange the yellow beam takes the lead.

Four shades and the widths they cover

Frechstoff offers orange, natural and light blue to 3XL and white as far as 5XL, every one of them from S upwards. Because 185 g per square metre of jersey runs through the series, the shirt does for a day at work, a warm afternoon on deck and a layer under a windbreaker.
