The mug is pleased with itself: round eyes, a knobbly orange nose, a contented mouth. Golden beer stands in the glass, foam swells over the top like a hairstyle, and an arm in a white glove reaches out of one side with the thumb raised. The lettering prints in dark blue-grey with a white outline, laid over a pale field that lifts the motif off the cloth. CHEERS arches above, TO BEERS curves the other way below, and the mug overlaps both words slightly. The characters are rounded and thickened towards their outer edges, after the fashion of old mascot logos, with single small sparks between glass and type.
