The joke in the German

Die Fresse halten is a blunt way of telling somebody to shut up. Change one letter and Fresse becomes Kresse, the garden cress, which makes the whole thing polite enough for any gathering.

Who to give it to

To the colleague who always adds one more sentence in a meeting. To the brother-in-law with an opinion on everything at family dinner. Or to yourself, as a quiet message to everybody else. Anyone who gardens gets the joke twice over.

Three pale colours

Frechstoff puts the print on yellow, natural (a warm cream) and white. White runs the full distance to 5XL, the other two as far as 3XL, and each of them opens at S. On white and cream a flimsy cloth would show everything underneath – 185 g/m² of cotton closes that gap and drops straight. Cotton only, the body knitted free of side seams, straight cut, a tape at the neck (washable at 30 degrees).

Drawn to the leaf tips

The motif is worked out in detail right to the tips of the leaves, and the wording stays politer than what is actually meant.
