How To Pick Up Chicks Men's T-Shirt

An instruction leaflet that takes the pun literally

Chicks means young women and it also means young birds, and this shirt picks the second reading. Under the heading in white serif capitals come three numbered panels laid out like a set of instructions: the stick figure walks towards a yellow chick, bends down (arrow pointing down) and straightens up again with the bird in hand (arrow pointing up). The panels sit side by side inside one continuous white frame, each with a small numeral in its top left corner. Only the arrows and the chick are yellow; everything else stays white, and the heading is centred across two lines.

Chat-up tips at no risk

For anyone who can laugh at himself, and for anyone who likes starting a conversation with a misunderstanding. It does its job at a stag do, at a festival, or as a present for the single friend in the group.

Colours and cloth

Frechstoff offers black, navy and red from S right up to 5XL, while burgundy and the pink sorbet also begin at S yet close at 3XL. Weighing 185 g/m², the jersey is solid enough that the yellow chick does not glimmer through from the inside, and it drops evenly from the shoulder. Pure cotton, knitted without side seams, regular fit, round neck, sleeves kept short (wash at 30 degrees).

Clear print on substantial cloth

White and yellow are the only ink colours and the areas are printed solid, without a screen. That is why the choice is limited to dark and saturated fabric tones. On sorbet the contrast turns out softer than on black, but the instructions stay legible on all five.
