Rock, paper, scissors rewritten as a drinks order

A playground game turns into a bar menu. Three drawings stand side by side on a cream brushstroke: an open pair of scissors, a wine glass with a swirl in it, a stein under a head of foam. Below them the new wording runs in dark handwriting, SCHERE, WEIN, PAAR BIER. All three objects are laid in warm gold and outlined in dark brown, while foam and highlights stay cream. The brushstroke behind them frays at the edges and lets the fabric show through in places.

What the German plays on

Schere, Stein, Papier is the German for rock, paper, scissors. Swap two words and it becomes Schere, Wein, paar Bier: scissors, wine, a couple of beers.

Who loses the round

Good for a wine festival or a beer garden, for hairdressers with a sense of humour, and for anyone who would rather play for the next round than argue about it.

Four colours, one shape

Frechstoff prints the motif on red and white from S through to 5XL, and on light blue and kelly green from S as far as 3XL. Those 185 g/m² are enough body to keep the front from drooping, so the brushstroke lies flat and the gold reads clean. Tubular cotton jersey without a side seam, crew neck in ribbed knit, short sleeves, straight cut (wash at 30 degrees).

Three drawings in a row

The arrangement follows the game: scissors on the left, the wine glass in the centre, the stein on the right, all at one height and well spaced. The lettering underneath takes the full width of the group and closes it off at the foot.
