Panda design for the third half

Between bamboo canes sits a panda with half-closed eyes and a blissful grin. In its paw it holds a tankard with the foam running over the rim. Warm stripes in orange and cream lie behind it, and the lettering frames the picture: RICHTIG EINEN REIN on top, FÜR'N VEREIN at the foot, white and heavy.

A matter of honour in the lower leagues

Promotion, survival or simply the last game of the season: once the whistle goes there is beer in the clubhouse. The garment is for players, for coaches and for the people at the barbecue who stand by the pitch every Sunday. It also works as a team present at the Christmas do.

What the caption says

Loosely rendered, the German promises a proper drink for the sake of the club, which is exactly what the panda is doing.

Cloth and sizes

All three shades, navy, red and black, are stocked right across the ladder. Frechstoff uses cotton alone, looped in the round to a jersey the hand finds soft and substantial at 185 g/m²; there are no side seams, the fit regular, the sleeves short, rib knit at the opening, and 30 degrees in the drum is the limit the cloth asks for.

The picture area

The motif stands in an upright field with a pale border. Behind the animal, stripes in orange, ochre and cream fan outwards. Bamboo stems with narrow leaves reach into the picture from either side. The tankard is drawn in glass, the contents amber, the foam spilling over the rim.
