Stencil type belongs on ammunition crates, freight containers and army surplus. The four letters A.C.A.B. run vertically down the leg of these sweat shorts in exactly that manner, dots between them and the little bridges the technique leaves inside each character. Alongside, set in a narrow face, stands the spelled-out long form.

White print, three shades of short

On the black pair and on the grey one the wordmark is printed white and lifts clearly off the fabric, with the pale cords at the waist picking up the same note. Burgundy rounds out the choice. Five widths are offered, from S up to 2XL.

Park, sofa, coach trip

Short leg, thick cloth: these are made for days when full-length joggers get too warm and thin sports bottoms are not enough. For a kickabout, the walk to the corner shop, or a long ride to an away fixture. Keys and phone live in the side pockets, the wallet goes in the one at the back.

Heavy loopback, five widths

Brushed on the reverse and, at 330 grams per square metre, far weightier than a thin athletic weave, the cloth blends ring-spun cotton with polyester in a 70 to 30 split. A broad rib forms the waistband and closes over a flat drawcord. Five widths are stocked, S up to 2XL. The same stencil artwork turns up here on a t-shirt, a hoodie and a bum bag. Machine wash at 30 degrees.
