Two-tone neck strap with blackletter lettering

The strap shows two faces with the colours swapped: black ground with red type on one side, red ground with black type on the other. However it happens to twist, the impression changes as it is worn, and there is no right way round. The letters recall old fraktur type and repeat the brand name along the whole length, so it stays legible from any angle. A metal fitting sits at the lower end, and the keyring hooks into it.

Measurements and weave

The loop measures about 38 centimetres and goes comfortably over the head; the keys then hang at roughly chest height and stay in view. The strap is woven from 100% polyester. The fibre takes up very little moisture, does not fray at the edges and dries quickly after a shower of rain. Several keys with a fob will not pull the weave out of length either, and the edge does not chafe at the neck.

What for

Front door, locker, workshop or car: on the strap the keys stay in sight instead of disappearing into a jacket pocket. If the weave gets dirty, lukewarm water with a little soap and a cloth will do; the fitting should then air-dry before the lanyard goes back into use.
