A wind jacket that goes on over the head

This one is pulled on like a jumper. Its zip runs from the tall collar down as far as the chest, which lets the collar be fastened right up or opened wide. Two colours split the jacket horizontally: black on top, dark grey beneath.

A light outer shell

Outside sits a 340T nylon weighing 58 gsm. The high thread count stands for a dense, smooth weave that keeps wind out; the low weight means the jacket folds away to almost nothing. Something this thin is no substitute for a padded winter coat, but on a cool evening it takes the draught out of the air.

Two linings

Inside, Urban Classics works with two layers of 100% polyester: a micro mesh at 130 gsm and a 230T taffeta at 70 gsm. The mesh lets air move around, while the smooth taffeta lets the jacket slide over sleeves and jumpers instead of catching on them.

Fittings and sizes

At the front two slanted welt pockets take the hands, and a short zip sits at the side of the hem. The sleeves end in elasticated cuffs, and a logo patch sits on the chest. Available from M to 2XL.
