Yakuza Premium Winged Skull Cap, Red on Black

Red lettering with a skull inside the word

Strong red on black, embroidered and slightly raised: that is how the lettering stands on the front. YAKUZA fills the upper half in large, somewhat weathered characters, and PREMIUM follows below, interrupted in the middle by a small winged skull. The skull replaces no character; it pushes itself in between them. A further emblem sits on the side panel, this time black on black.

Shape and fastening

The crown is worked in cloth throughout and manages without a mesh insert, which lets the cap sit evenly and the stitching lie flat. The peak is curved. Width is governed by a snapback at the rear that locks in steps and can be pulled tighter with one hand. The cap is made from polyester.

• base colour black, embroidery in red
• winged skull inside the lettering
• side emblem black on black
• cloth crown with a curved peak
• rear fastening, polyester cloth

What it goes with

Red and black get along with almost any dark jacket and with denim. Unlike the tonal models in the range, the lettering here can be read from several metres away: a cap that shows itself. Clean it by hand in spots.
