A shade of green that works with cargo, denim and black without committing to any one colour. The lettering is held in the same tone, only a few shades darker, and lifts away through dense, raised stitching. The blackletter characters recall newspaper mastheads from before offset printing. Under the name, SELECTION is set in smaller type.

Details at the edge

An embroidered wing in pale beige sits at the side, the one place where the cap works with contrast. The crown does without a mesh insert and is cloth all round, the peak is gently curved, and a snapback behind regulates the width in steps. Polyester is the material.

The same design is made as a black cap with a red wing. The olive here is muted enough for workwear and light enough not to vanish beside a black jacket. Alongside sand, brown and denim it runs without a break. Go over the embroidery now and then with a soft brush.
