Low crown and a peak that arrives already bent

The dad cap is the easy-going relation of the baseball cap: the crown sits flatter on the head, it carries no stiffening and therefore falls soft. The peak comes curved out of the packaging and needs no breaking in. That is where the relaxed impression comes from, nothing stands away, everything lies down.

Embroidery and fastening

The lettering runs in white yarn across the two front panels, with a small registered sign after the last character. Embroidered rather than printed means the writing cannot flake, not even along the fold lines of the peak. Behind the head a textile strap closes with a metal buckle, so the circumference adjusts without steps, one size therefore suits many heads, and the end of the strap can be tucked away underneath.

Wearing and cleaning

With a hoodie and a t-shirt, on a working day as much as at the weekend, and plain enough in black to go with coloured jackets as well. The unisex shape means the cap suits any head, and the metal buckle holds the setting even when the cap is taken off and put back on often. Cotton caps do not belong in a machine: press them out by hand in lukewarm water and let them dry in the air.
