Hard rock look on a knitted hat

Pointed, angular characters with a fine outline, and in the middle a bolt that strikes between the second and third letter: the Thunder design takes its appearance from classic hard rock. What stands on the patch, though, is not a band name but ACAB, spread wide across the surface.

Red on dark, white on light

Black and navy carry the lettering in red, grey and Military Green in white. The patch itself is kept in the tone of the hat and sits at the front on the turn-up.

For winter gigs and cold terraces

When the queue outside the venue is long or the wind cuts through the ground, the hat gets pulled down over the ears. Take the patch off and a plain beanie is left for everyday wear.

Two layers, one lining

The hat is knitted from acrylic with a soft surface; beneath it lies a second layer with a Thinsulate lining of polypropylene and polyester. That two-layer build is what separates it from a simple knitted piece: the outer layer takes the wind, the inner holds the warmth. A single size fits everyone, because the knit gives. Pulled down low, the hat covers the ears as well; worn a little higher, the badge stays better in view. The Thunder badge is also found on a trucker cap in the shop, and the design on a bum bag.
