Old German letters in white on black fabric: the basic version carries nothing but the word Ostdeutschland in flowing blackletter across the front. On the versions with a state name, Sachsen-Anhalt for example, the name sits large in the same typeface, with OSTDEUTSCHLAND below it in small plain capitals.

Seven designs to pick from

Ostdeutschland, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen, Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The bag is identical on all of them and always black; only the lettering changes, which lets you name the region rather than just the compass point.
