Four letters and nothing else: ACAB runs across the front in broad stencil type, the narrow bridges of the spray template left standing inside the letterforms. There are no dots between them and no line underneath. That keeps the design compact and readable at a glance, even in the crush outside the turnstiles.

White print on three fabrics

The bag comes in plain black and in the two camouflage patterns, Midnight Camo and Jungle Camo; the print stays white throughout. Against black it reads hard and clean, the dark night pattern of Midnight Camo holds nearly the same contrast, and Jungle Camo brings green and brown woodland cover.

The version without a strapline

Anyone after the letters with dots and a small line of text below them will find the ACAB Stencil bum bag elsewhere in the shop. This one keeps to the lettering alone and wears more quietly, whether across the stomach or slung diagonally over the back.

Measurements and layout

The outer fabric is a polyester weave in 600 denier; made up, the bag measures roughly 38 centimetres across, 14 high and 8 deep, which comes to about 2.5 litres of room. Most of that sits in the main pocket, the rest in the flat zipped one at the back. The webbing adjusts to waist or shoulder length. Alongside plain black the shop lists the two camouflage prints; which of them suits is usually decided by the jacket worn over it rather than by the design.
