The brand name is applied in the same colour as the fabric of the bag, yet so dense and so high that it stands out as a relief. YAKUZA fills the front in broad block capitals, with PREMIUM SEL. smaller beneath. Depending on how the light falls the stitching throws shadows of its own: legible close up, and from a few paces away no more than a texture in the red.

Measurements and compartments

Across the top the bag measures about 30 centimetres, tapering to around 15 centimetres at the bottom, with a height of roughly 12 centimetres. The trapezoid shape lets it lie against the body instead of standing away from it. Two separate compartments keep keys, phone and loose change apart, so nothing slides into a heap. It is stocked in one size; width is governed by the belt alone.

Wearing and cleaning

The belt adjusts for length, so the bag can sit at the hip or across the back; a press on the buckle takes it off again. The red is a solid shade without pattern and catches the eye straight away against black clothing. Polyester will not take a hot wash: lift marks off with a damp cloth and leave the bag open to dry.
