Brand lettering woven into the band
On the Jacquard Logo Belt the brand is not printed on; it is part of the weave. White block capitals travel the black band from end to end, so the name can still be read between the trouser loops.
Why jacquard
In a jacquard weave the pattern appears as the cloth is made, which means the letters consist of yarn and do not lie on top as a layer of colour. A print can crack or flake away; woven lettering cannot. Run a finger along the band and the letters register as a faint relief.
Buckle and length
The buckle is metal with a matt black surface, so it keeps itself out of the picture. The band measures 120 cm, ships as one size and may be shortened if need be. Polyester accounts for all of the weave, which keeps the band stable and stops it stretching in use.
Black or yellow
White lettering on black stays discreet and suits dark trousers. Yellow inverts the idea and puts the belt to work as a splash of colour above the jeans, clearly on show under a short top. The woven lettering is identical on both; only the ground colour of the band changes.
