Four letters for everyone who stands at the stove

Four letters with full stops, and between A.C. and A.B. a skull grins out from under a tall chef's hat, two kitchen knives crossed behind it. The small line underneath does the explaining: All Cooks Are Beautiful. A declaration of love to anyone who works a pan or a rack.

Where it earns its keep

At the kettle grill in the garden, at the gas grill on the patio, browning something off in your own kitchen. The bib reaches up over the chest and catches whatever misses the plate on the way. It travels well as a present too, because the joke only lands on the second look.

Six colours

Navy, black, royal blue, grey and red show the print in white, and the white apron shows it in black. The print sits centrally and fills the bib almost completely.

One size, many wearers

Because the bands are knotted at the back, the fit depends not on a clothing size but on how hard you pull. The neck loop is sewn fast and cannot be altered; it sits where it sits and lets the bib hang centred.

Cut and cloth

Bib apron in one single size of roughly 67 x 78 centimetres, plus a neck loop and ties of 78 cm knotted behind the back. The cloth is a twill, a weave you can spot by its fine diagonal lines, of 170 g/m². The fibre mix: polyester 80 %, cotton 20 %. A wash at 30 °C is all it asks.
